Hemp Seed Oil

We now have hemp seed oil!

Our oil selection keeps expanding in aisle #3. Hemp seed oil is another healthy, Omega rich oil like olive, coconut & avocado oils.

It is best used in dressings, marinades, smoothies, etc., as well as externally for skin conditioning purposes. 

Anyone familiar with flax oil should treat hemp seed oil similarly. It has a light earthy & nutty flavor. Not recommended as a cooking oil.

Quinoa milk and hemp milk join the growing variety of non-dairy products including soy, rice, flax, almond, coconut and whatever else I'm forgetting here. So if you're lactose intolerant, vegan, have other issues with moo juice or just like to try new things, we have lots of options nowadays!

Both quinoa seeds and hemp seeds are considered to be complete proteins, high in minerals and low in fat. And the fats they do have are good kinds of fats.

Chia and Flax Seeds at Kennewick Grocery Outlet!

Chia & Flax Seeds are part of the new super foods thing these days; especially chia seeds. And we have 'em!

Remember these nifty fig bars we had in a few months ago? Fans will be happy to know we have them again in Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Peach-Apricot and regular Fig! They're even "Non-GMO Verified". Each box yields 12 packs of 2-- that's 24 fig bars that are also larger than the popular leading brand. Ya darn tootin' they are!

And speaking of Non-GMO Verified, we got in over a half a ton of this pure cane sugar that's minimally processed but equal to standard granulated sugar when measuring in all your baking recipes. Sweet!

Kombucha! Okay, what the heck is Kombucha?? Well, people have been making it for years, but lately it's starting to show up on the shelves for people like me who are too lazy to make it.

Yeah, but what is it?!!

Basically it's a fermented "tea" type beverage (non-alcoholic) made with yeast that derives from various Asian countries, and is supposed to be good for you. It's pretty hipster stuff right now in the USA, but we have it at Grocery Outlet at the LOW non-hipster price.
