Cashew & almond butters can be an interesting break from the peanut butter routine.

Our Creamy Almond Butter is produced here in the Pacific NW by the Golden Nut Co. of Blaine, WA. Almonds are extremely nutritious.

Cashews are a nutritious and versatile snack food; great by themselves, with breakfast cereal, dessert toppings, etc. You can even make cashew butter in your food processor-- no other ingredients necessary! How easy is that!

 I just made Cashew Chicken:

Recently, I took some boneless/skinless chicken breasts, sliced them lengthwise in 3-4 strips per breast, lightly dusted them with Chinese Five Spice seasoning, coated in raw egg (just like making French Toast) and rolled them in crushed cashews. Bake on a cookie sheet or baking dish for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Before going in oven. They were consumed too fast to get a photo after...

Serve with steamed veggies and rice. Don't forget the soy sauce or sweet chili sauce. Yeah!
