Organic Canned Tomato Products For LESS!!!

Does $1.29 /can of 28 oz. of Certified Organic tomatoes sound like a good deal?

Silly question, huh!

Right now, Kennewick Grocery Outlet has a Supply of Earth Pure brand canned tomato products available in diced, chunky w/sauce and "ground" kinda like puree'd. And these are even a Pacific NW product (based in Vancouver, WA).

Plan A Chili Feed This Weekend! We Got the Fixin's!

1 gallon cans

Here's one way to feed a houseful of people quickly without spending all day in the kitchen! We got in some restaurant size, 108 oz. cans of chili con carne. That's one gallon, folks! This chili has no beans, though you can add 'em if you want-- and yes, we stock lotsa beans too. But if you have a bunch of company over, and they're stayin' for awhile, the no-beans might be a blessing. Nuff said, ok.

Now if canned chili is a bit boring, but you still don't have time to build a big batch of your own secret recipe, chili contest winning masterpiece from 1996, you can still kick it up fast & easy with some of these fire roasted diced tomatoes with smokey chipotle peppers.

And our produce dept has plenty of green onions, cilantro and fresh jalapenos. Add grated cheese, tortillas and maybe some chips too, and you still have a quick feast with no more work than opening a couple cans and chopping up the green stuff. I use scissors to save on washing the cutting board. That's how I roll...

 

 And then get out of the kitchen!!!

FETA CHEESE MADNESS!!!

You can simply portion it into smaller plastic bags and toss in the freezer. But doesn't freezing make cheese crumbly? Not a problem with Feta, since it's already crumbly!
